Support for an Economic Stimulus Proposal

In a continuing effort to provide for the residents of San Joaquin County, Chairman Ken Vogel, acting on behalf the Board of Supervisors sent the following letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein expressing support for an economic stimulus proposal. The Chairman outlined the economic challenges San Joaquin County faces including the depressed real estate market, high unemployment and the inability for State assistance due to its own budgetary shortfall. Letters were also sent to Senator Barbara Boxer and Congressmen Dennis Cardoza and Jerry McNerney requesting their support.
