Agricultural Commissioner's Office

Enforces the provisions of the California Food and Agricultural Code for the protection of the public's health, safety and welfare, and to promote and protect the agricultural industry. 

 

Community Development

Assisting the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission to provide the means of attaining an environment that protects the health, safety and welfare of the citizens; make the most judicious use of the county's resources; reflect the public's values; and be consistent with the individual community's values.

 

Environmental Health

The Environmental Health Department provides environmental services, which protect and enhance public health, well-being, and safety through prevention, education, inspection and enforcement of State and local environmental laws and regulations.

 

Office Of Emergency Services

The mission of the Office of Emergency Services (OES) is to minimize or reduce injury, loss of life, environmental and property damage from emergencies within San Joaquin County.
