In 2009, the San Joaquin County Board of
Supervisors adopted Ordinance #4310, also known as the Construction,
Demolition and Landscaping Debris Recycling and Diversion Ordinance.
This Ordinance requires that all Applicable Projects must divert 50% of all
Construction and Demolition Debris excluding Inert and Organic material
AND 90% of Inert and Organic materials from the landfill through
reuse and recycling.
All waste materials and materials that cannot be recycled
or reused MUST be delivered to a
facility designated by San Joaquin
County’s Director of Public Works.
