Residents and business owners today want to save money and the environment, and they hire contractors who can help them do both. San Joaquin County Public Works and the University of California Cooperative Extension introduce the successful Green Gardener program with our first series of workshops for professionals. Landscapers qualify as Green Gardeners after receiving training in water conservation, Integrated Pest Management, turf grass management and fertilizing, pruning, and plant and soil health.
The Green Gardener program will be promoted throughout the County, giving residents and business owners an easy way to find a landscaper who appreciates their concerns for the environment and their finances. Be one of the first qualified Green Gardeners in our area, and we will help market your business to thousands of potential customers.
Do you contract your landscaping to professionals? Ask them to become Green Gardeners by participating in these important workshops.
